Serendah Waterfall and Gedangsa Sekinchan Loop

A fun way to enjoy riding small cc bikes is to rode it through inner rural roads. For this trip, I am trying to pin a route with minimal highways, and more of the countryside road that offers lust scenery.

The entire round trip from KL to Gedangsa — Sekinchan Loop consist around an approximate of 302km according to Google Maps.

It was a gloomy Friday morning with moderate traffic as I departed from my house in OUG to Nasi Kandar Di Noor in Bandar Sunday to takeaway their Lamb Fried Rice. This Mamak store does serve one of the best Nasi Goreng Kambing (Lamb Fried Rice) that I've ever tasted.

I brought alongside with me my lunch box and thermal food warmer bag when buying this fried rice, so I can enjoy my fried rice while its hot at the waterfall.

The last 3km stretch prior arriving to the Serendah Waterfall, I passed by the settlement of Kampung Orang Asli. Although the road might seems a little bit narrow, this RT3 is swift enough to navigate through bump and potholes.

After awhile, I've finally arrived at Serendah Waterfall. The entrance fee is RM1 only. I then continued to ride to the second level of the waterfall that require a bare minimal off-roading.

The water is cold, with a faint hint of brownish in colour which indicate it was raining on the previous night. Despite of that, it's still clear enough to notice the bottom rocks on the shallower part.

Sadly, there're many traces of rubbish on the side rock that was left behind by irresponsible human species. I hope people can adopt the culture of bring-back-your-own-rubbish to keep our nature attraction in pristine condition.

I then find a rock to sit and enjoy my late lunch with a can of chilled Nescafe. The experience of having a quick lunch by the waterfall is indeed relaxing despite it's a bit hot on that day.

I took a shower, then prepare myself for the ride of the day. I continue to ride towards Felda Soeharto and Felda Gedangsa, almost the entire road was in pristine condition with minimal portholes and surrounded by palm oil plantations.

I took route B44, which was a long-straight road bordering between Perak and Selangor State that connect Felda Gedangsa and Sungai Besar. This road was a bit chilly due to the dense forest concentration, many wildlife also spotted along this route like monkeys and buffalos.

Around 4pm, I arrived at one of the paddy fields in Sungai Besar. I quickly took out my tripod for a quick photo session with my new bike.

It started to rain heavily when I was just about to ride home. No more photos taken afterwards. I took the Sekinchan - Tanjung Karang - Batu Arang route and then pass by Rawang and straight back to house in Kuala Lumpur.
