Introduction to Post No. 1

Many people started a blog because they’ve grown a particular hobby or passion that it’s worth documenting for their own use or own cause—and I am one of those people. For starters, I love light to moderate outdoorsy activities such as moto-camping, hiking, or road-tripping with my loved one by taking the less travelled road.

However, the main reason for me in starting this blog is because I’m getting a new scooter soon, very soon. I plan to travel many miles with it and blog my experience into my mini “personal” journal. Hence, I named this blog CVT Rider because it’s heavily about me riding a scooter.

C.V.T. stands for Continuous Variable Transmission, and scooter is the only engine-powered two-wheelers that are using this type of gearbox.

Previously, I’ve ridden a Modenas Pulsar NS200 (sold), Kawasaki ER6N (sold) and my faithful CB500x which I still owning it. This officially will be my first time of owning a scooter bike and for that I am very excited for it. I feel the need to start this blog because the information regarding to small CC scooters are very limited in my country, moreover, written in English.

Beside scooters, I would also like add other topics that I am interested to put in my blog. These little interests of mine consists of passenger cars, pick-up truck, riding gear reviews and the road-trips or ride-trips I’ve taken along the year.

I sincerely hope that my blog could inspire people to try new things—or at the very least it can provide people with useful information and references.

Therefore, I conclude this first ever post to kick start a brand-new beginning.
